Staying here is like staying with family, but the kind of family that you're excited to see and reluctant to leave. The setting, the vibe, the everything was just perfect! Very clean, tidy and well thought out. Lots of small touches like plenty of mirrors, thick blankets, comfy beds, milk in the fridge, a good variety of tea bags, well stocked kitchen, and even a little Christmas tree... especially liked the walk in closet with a light ....we will be back... Wonderful welcome. A very old house located quite close to the A38, with internal updates in sympathy with the original character. Beautiful room - very comfortable bed. Julie was a great host - nothing too much trouble. Breakfast at a time to suit us and plentiful. Would definitely visit again and hopefully meet the dogs next time! Close enough to walk into the local village for a meal across the fields, but rural enough to give the dog some local exercise near the river.
